ABOUT
- ABOUT -

The Military Heritage Center will be located in College Station, Texas. It is the home of Texas A&M University and sits in the heart of the Texas Triangle formed by three of America's largest cities: Houston, Dallas and San Antonio.

Architectural plans are in progress to develop a 20,000 square foot interactive, educational facility. Through its exhibits and educational outreach, the MHC will emphasize lessons learned and leadership dynamics drawn from real world stories and experiences of those who have served our country.

Help us create a remarkable tribute to those who have served.

The Military Heritage Center's premier exhibit is From Texas to Bastogne: Texas Aggies Go to War. The exhibit was originally proposed by Belgian officials who were forging business partnerships with local officials and Texas A&M. It was on display in Bastogne, Belgium from December 2014 to June 2016.

The exhibit honors and examines the service of all World War II veterans by taking visitors through the life stories of five Aggies who fought in the Battle of the Bulge, which was centered in Bastogne.

This exhibit will occupy the MHC's main exhibit hall. Learn more about this exhibit and its unique story by visiting its website.

LOCATION
- LOCATION -

The Military Heritage Center will be located in the Veterans Park & Athletic Complex thanks to a generous land lease approved by the City of College Station.

Veterans Park is also home to the Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial, a beautiful and unique 12-acres commemorating the sacrifices of veterans during each of the conflicts in our nation's past.

EDUCATION
- EDUCATION -

A vital part of the mission of the Military Heritage Center is education.

Through engaging exhibits as well as specially tailored programs, the MHC will help visitors of all ages understand how this country's citizen soldiers have demonstrated values of leadership, excellence and selfless service.

The MHC hosted its first educational program in December 2017, sharing the stories of Texans who liberated the Nazi concentration camps at the end of WWII.

When finished, the Military Heritage Center will join many other attractions in the Bryan/College Station area dedicated to preserving America's military history.
